mbege is a traditional alcohol for nganjoni residents where by most of the people in nganjoni are self employed in making mbege,mbege is mostly used in different occasion such as ceremonial activities as marriage, send off, and even during funeral events.

intake, catchment area where the nganjoni irrigation canal start in river mue, it was constructed to enable nganjoni residents trap water easily from river mue for irrigation purpose. people uses this water for production of vegetables, maize, tomatoes, during the dry season, so in nganjoni agriculture production in some parts takes place throughout the year.
this is the group of people in nganjoni village, dealing with the environmental conservation, they deals with planting trees in this village particularly at mount sowoko.
